Ben Topor

I’m Ben Topor, a software industry strategist and growth equity investor, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Titan Capital Partners, a technology investment firm focused on growth equity and secondary investments. I partner with exceptional founders and long-term technology operators, focusing on opportunities across enterprise software, vertical software, infrastructure, and consumer internet.
Rooted in my early career as an officer in the Israeli Intelligence Directorate, I bring a disciplined analytical mindset and a deep focus on patterns, incentives, and strategic behavior. That foundation has shaped the way I decode technology markets — from competitive dynamics and market-entry strategies to software value propositions and industry cycles. My investing experience spans Israel, Europe, and the U.S., with a particular emphasis on secondary transactions in leading private tech companies.
Before founding Titan, I was a Managing Partner at Catalyst Investments and Head of Technology, Media & Telecom investment banking at Cukierman & Co. I also founded The Noah Initiative, a non-profit focused on regional economic development in Israel. I hold a B.A. in Economics and East Asian Studies from Tel Aviv University, and in 2016 I was named to Forbes Israel’s inaugural 30 Under 30 list.
I’m the author of Decoding the Software Landscape, a book and podcast series exploring how software markets evolve and how investors can identify durable opportunities, and I write about software, AI, and technology investing as a Forbes contributor.
Originally from Israel and now based in Palm Beach with my wife and three children, I balance my professional life with interests in running, gadgets, and intellectually rich detective stories.
